Especially
my own. Body image is how you see yourself when you look at yourself
in the mirror
or when you picture yourself in your mind. It encompasses.
What you believe about
your own appearance including your memories and assumption. How you feel about your body including your height, shape, and weight. How you sense and control your body as you move and how you physically experience or feel in your body. Many humans realize these messages starting at a young age that can lead to a positive body image or a negative body image. Do you ever wish you could change something about your body? If so, you’re not alone. Many people feel very unhappy with some parts of their looks. But when you get stuck on what you don’t like, it can really bring down your self-esteem. You don’t need to have the perfect body to have a good body image. Sometimes I have problems with my own body appearance and I also get some offensive comments as well like, eat more, you’re too skinny, do you have anorexia? And more, but I don’t mind. I ignore all the negative comments people think about my body because I am proud of how my body looks. You see, NO BODYS PERFECT! Everyone wants to be liked and accepted. Some people think, "When I get in better shape, I'll like my body” But it's best to start the other way. First, accept your body. Find things to like about it. Take good care of your body. When you like your body, it's easier to treat it right.
